Easy
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Preferably use runny natural honey and mature, well-dried walnuts.
Step 2
Shell the walnuts or use already shelled nuts. Rinse them under cold running water in a colander, then dry them in a dry frying pan over medium heat, stirring constantly so they do not burn.
Step 3
Wash the lemon thoroughly under running water and dry it. Cut it into small pieces, similar to fruit for jam, and remove any seeds.
Step 4
Place the dried walnuts and chopped lemon in a bowl.
Step 5
Mix evenly with a spoon.
Step 6
Transfer the walnut and lemon mixture to a clean, suitable jar.
Step 7
Pour the runny honey over the walnuts and lemon.
Step 8
Close the jar tightly and store the mixture in the refrigerator. Serve with tea, spoon it over porridge or enjoy it as a sweet topping.
