Prepare the necessary ingredients to make delicious homemade syrniki.
Step 2
Put 500 g (about 1.1 lb) curd/cottage cheese into a large bowl, to your taste.
Step 3
Add 3 tablespoons sugar to the bowl with the curd.
Step 4
Crack and add 1 egg.
Step 5
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar.
Step 6
Add 3 tablespoons semolina with bran.
Step 7
Mix everything well and let it stand for 15 minutes so the semolina can swell.
Step 8
Add 3 tablespoons flour to the smooth curd mixture.
Step 9
Add 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Step 10
Mix well, then let the bowl stand for 15 minutes.
Step 11
Cut 1 fairly firm banana into small cubes and add them to the curd mixture.
Step 12
Mix all the ingredients well.
Step 13
Put 1 tablespoon wheat flour on a plate. Scoop 1 tablespoon of the curd mixture at a time, place it on the plate, and coat it in flour.
Step 14
Shape the flour-coated mixture into syrniki of the size you want.
Step 15
Heat a skillet on the stove with added vegetable oil. Place the shaped syrniki in the skillet and fry on one side over medium heat for about 2 minutes, until golden.
Step 16
Flip the syrniki, cover the skillet with a lid, and continue frying for about 2 minutes more, until fully cooked.
Step 17
Transfer the cooked syrniki from the skillet to a plate.
Step 18
Plate the syrniki, add jam, fruit preserve, or sour cream to taste, and garnish with herbs on top.
