Preparation
Step 1
How do you make salad with tuna, corn, and eggs? Prepare the ingredients. You can use any tuna, either in its own juice or in oil; the oil, by the way, can be used for dressing the salad. Salted or pickled cucumbers will work. I used dill, but you can use other herbs to taste. Sometimes onion or salad onion is added to this salad.
Step 2
Carefully open the can of canned corn. Drain the corn in a sieve so the excess liquid runs off. Put the required amount of corn into the prepared salad bowl.
Step 3
Prepare the remaining ingredients. The salad will look beautiful and neat if all the ingredients are cut into pieces of the same size and shape, for example, cubes. Remove the salted or pickled cucumbers from the jar and cut them into small cubes. Add the chopped cucumbers to the salad bowl with the corn.
Step 4
Boil the eggs. How do you hard-boil eggs? To keep the eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after the water comes to a boil, then cover them with cold water and let them cool. The sharp temperature change will make the shells easier to remove. Peel the eggs, then cut them into small cubes and add them to the salad.
Step 5
Carefully open the can of tuna and drain the oil or juice. Cut the tuna as you like or separate it into flakes. Add the tuna to the salad with the previously prepared ingredients.
Step 6
Rinse the fresh herbs under cold running water and dry them. Then chop them finely and add to the salad.
Step 7
Add mayonnaise, salt, and ground black pepper to the salad to taste, then mix. Be careful with the salt, as mayonnaise is already quite salty, so do not oversalt.
Step 8
Serve the finished salad with tuna and canned corn immediately after preparing it. This is a standalone dish that can be served for dinner or used as one of the snacks.
