Step 1
How do you make thin flatbread pie with cabbage in the oven? Prepare the listed ingredients. The base of the pie will be made from thin flatbread, so you need thin flatbread, preferably 2–3 sheets or one long sheet that can be cut. My sour cream is 20% fat, and the eggs are size C1. The cooking time for the filling will vary depending on how mature the cabbage is. Prepare a frying pan and a baking dish with medium-height sides.

To make the filling for the pie, peel and chop the carrot and onion. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the onion and carrot. Finely shred the cabbage and add it to the pan with the vegetables. Stew the cabbage under a lid, stirring constantly, until done. At the end of cooking, season the cabbage with salt to taste. Keep a close eye on the cabbage so it does not burn, because the appearance of the whole pie will depend on it.
Step 3
For the pie, you need 2–3 sheets of thin flatbread. If the flatbread is long, cut it into equal rectangles. If the flatbread is already in sheets, make them into equal-sized sheets as well. Place cabbage on one sheet and put the next sheet of flatbread on top. Spread cabbage over it as well. If the flatbread is very thin, it is better to make a double layer; otherwise, it may tear from the juicy filling, and the filling may fall out when rolling. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 356°F.
Step 4
Roll the flatbread into a log, then cut it into pieces slightly shorter than the height of the baking dish they will be baked in. Grease the dish with vegetable oil and place the sliced flatbread with cabbage into it.
Step 5
Lightly beat the eggs, add the sour cream, milk, and a little salt. Mix the mixture with a whisk until smooth.
Step 6
Pour the egg and milk mixture over the pieces of flatbread in the dish. Place the pie in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes. The exact cooking time depends on the features of your oven.
Step 7
Remove the finished pie from the oven and let it cool slightly. While still warm, cut it into serving pieces. Enjoy!
