Preparation
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Use fresh herbs to taste, such as dill, parsley or green onions. Hard-boil 2 eggs and let them cool.
Step 2
Separate the boiled eggs into yolks and whites. Finely chop the pickles and onion. Wash, dry and finely chop the dill. Press or finely chop the garlic and finely chop the boiled egg whites. Place everything in a bowl, add the salt, sugar and sour cream, and mix well.
Step 3
Place the cooked egg yolks in a separate bowl. Separate the remaining eggs and add only the pasteurized raw yolks to the cooked yolks; reserve the whites for another use. Add the mustard and mash everything together. While stirring continuously, gradually pour in the oil until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Combine the two mixtures, add the lemon juice and mix thoroughly. The tartar sauce with garlic and pickles is ready to serve.
