Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Choose large champignons, keeping in mind that they will shrink during cooking. Use any cheese you like.
Step 2
Rinse the champignons briefly, pat them dry with paper towels and carefully separate the stems from the caps without damaging the caps.
Step 3
Peel the onion and finely chop it. Finely chop the mushroom stems as well.
Step 4
Set the multicooker to Fry or Sauté mode and let it heat up. Add a little vegetable oil to the bowl, then add the onion and cook for 1–2 minutes, until it begins to turn golden.
Step 5
Add the chopped mushroom stems to the onion. Press in the garlic and season with a little salt and ground black pepper. Cook everything together for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Transfer the sautéed mushroom mixture to a bowl and mix with the breadcrumbs. Leave to cool slightly.
Step 7
Grate the cheese. Add half of it to the slightly cooled filling and mix well.
Step 8
Fill the mushroom caps with the prepared mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
Step 9
Add a little more oil to the multicooker bowl and arrange the stuffed mushrooms inside. Select the Baking mode and cook for approximately 40 minutes, adjusting the time according to your multicooker. If all the mushrooms do not fit at first, you can add the remaining ones after a few minutes once the first batch has shrunk slightly.
Step 10
During cooking, the mushrooms will shrink and some of the filling may spill slightly over the sides, but the caps should still hold their shape.
Step 11
Carefully remove the mushrooms from the multicooker. While they are still hot, spoon any filling that has slipped out back onto the tops. Arrange on a plate, garnish as desired and serve.
