Preparation
Step 1
How do you make stewed beef with tomatoes and carrots? Prepare the ingredients. Choose boneless beef. You can slightly adjust the vegetable ratios to your taste. Peel the potatoes in advance.
Step 2
Cut the meat into small pieces. Heat a skillet until hot and add a little vegetable oil. Add the beef and sauté for 7-10 minutes, until it starts to brown.
Step 3
Peel and rinse the carrot and onion. Slice the carrot into rounds and dice the onion finely.
Step 4
Add the carrot and onion to the skillet and cook everything together for 2-3 minutes. Then add a little hot water and simmer over low heat, covered, for 30-40 minutes. Watch the water level. During stewing, the meat should become more tender.
Step 5
Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces and add to the skillet with the meat. Now you can add more water - adjust the amount of sauce to your taste. Add salt and spices. Continue cooking, covered, for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and bell pepper.
Step 7
Add the pepper and tomatoes to the skillet and keep covered for another 10-15 minutes.
Step 8
The stewed beef with bell pepper and tomatoes is ready! Serve hot, plated. Enjoy your meal!
