Simple Mug Cake Without Cocoa
Perfect baking, quick and delicious - impossible to resist. A simple mug cake without cocoa and with butter is a great solution when you need to prepare something for tea quickly. The ingredients can be found in almost any refrigerator. It does not require much time or any special cooking skills.

Step 1
How do you make a simple mug cake without cocoa and with butter? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Crack the egg into a bowl, I used a large egg, beat it lightly with a whisk, add the sugar, and mix. If you like, you can add vanilla or vanilla sugar.

Melt the butter, I used 72.5% fat butter, and let it cool to room temperature.

Add the milk and the cooled melted butter to the bowl.

Add the flour and baking soda. So the cake does not have a baking soda taste, neutralize it with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice right over the batter. Mix thoroughly so there are no lumps. Depending on the quality and properties of the flour, you may need a little less or a little more. The batter should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
Step 5
Grease the mug with butter and pour the batter into it. Choose a ceramic mug suitable for heating in a microwave oven.
Step 6
Place the mug in the microwave for 3–5 minutes at maximum power, mine took 4 minutes, so adjust to your microwave. You can check doneness with a toothpick: insert it into the cake, and if the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is ready. After that, remove the mug carefully, it will be hot, so it is better to use an oven mitt. You can eat the cake right from the mug, or turn it over to remove it, let it cool, and then cut it.
