Sandwich on a Hot Dog Bun with Fried Chicken Fillet
A chicken sandwich is a quick and tasty snack. It is very easy to make. You can take it to work, to a picnic with friends, or pack it for a child’s school lunch. It is always appropriate. The ingredients can be adjusted to your taste.

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. Mix the mayonnaise with the mustard. You can add spices, for example paprika, dried tomatoes, khmeli-suneli, ground black pepper, or herbes de Provence, or you can leave them out - it is a matter of taste. You can also chop herbs and garlic and add them to the sauce, according to taste.
Step 2
Rinse the lettuce leaves and dry them well.
Step 3
Cut the buns in half lengthwise and warm them on both sides in a grill pan or a regular frying pan until golden brown. There is no need to add oil. You can also use a toaster.
Step 4
Spread the sauce on the bottom halves of the buns.

Prepare the chicken fillet in any way you like - it can be boiled, baked, or fried. I fried it on both sides in special cooking sheets with spices for 7 minutes on each side, after first pounding the fillet pieces to the size of the buns and to a thickness of 1.5 cm, about 0.6 inch.
Step 6
Cut the tomatoes and the cheese into thin slices and place them on top of the fillet. For sandwiches, it is better to choose tomatoes that are not watery. I also added a little red onion, but if you do not like onion, you can leave it out.
Step 7
Place the lettuce leaves on top of the tomato and cover with the second half of the bun. You can secure it with wooden skewers so the sandwich does not fall apart and is easier to eat. The delicious sandwiches are ready. Enjoy your meal!
