Preparation
Step 1
Start by preparing all ingredients. You may replace smoked breast with meat from smoked drumsticks or thighs. Use any cheese you enjoy. Any vegetable oil works - I used olive.
Step 2
Remove skin and bones from the smoked chicken breast and cut it into thin strips. You may also shred it into fibers.
Step 3
Wash and dry the Napa cabbage, then slice it into thin strips. You can slice the whole head or separate the leaves first. For a more tender salad, trim off the thick white parts.
Step 4
Cut the tomato into small pieces. Choose juicy yet firm tomatoes - soft ones lose their shape and spoil the appearance.
Step 5
Grate the cheese on a medium or large grater.
Step 6
Wash and dry the herbs. Slice green onions into rings and finely chop parsley. Add more herbs as you prefer.
Step 7
Combine smoked chicken, Napa cabbage, tomato, cheese, and herbs in a salad bowl. Add garlic passed through a press.
Step 8
Dress the salad with vegetable oil, salt to taste, and mix well.
Step 9
You may serve the salad directly in the bowl, or pack it into a 14 cm culinary ring.
Step 10
Before serving, carefully remove the ring and serve immediately. Enjoy!
