Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the listed ingredients for the salad. Boil the eggs in advance for about 7-10 minutes and cool them in cold water. Boil the chicken breast fillet in advance, or you can use baked fillet. Use fresh cucumbers, either 1 large one or 2 small ones, as I did. For the salad, use red salad onion. You will need mayonnaise for the dressing. Use a small bunch of fresh parsley. Olives are for decorating the salad.
Step 2
You can make the salad in one large salad bowl in layers, or prepare it in individual portions using a serving ring. I will make it in layers in a salad bowl in two rounds, so I divide all the ingredients into two parts. Pull the cooked and cooled fillet into fibers or cut it into strips. Put the chicken fillet on the bottom of the salad bowl, press it down lightly with a spoon, and spread it with a small amount of mayonnaise or make a mayonnaise lattice.
Step 3
Rinse the fresh cucumbers with cold water and dry them with a towel. Cut off the ends and slice the cucumbers into thin strips. Add the sliced cucumbers to the salad bowl. Lightly spread this layer with mayonnaise, about 1 tablespoon. I do not peel the cucumbers, as you can see. You may peel them before slicing if you prefer.
Step 4
Take the braided cheese out of the package and use the amount needed for the salad. Pull the cheese into fibers or cut it into thin strips. Add it as the next layer and spread it with mayonnaise. Adjust the size of the pieces to your own preference.
Step 5
Peel the boiled and cooled eggs. Cut the eggs into strips and place them in the salad bowl as the next layer. Spread this layer with a small amount of mayonnaise.
Step 6
Peel the salad onion, rinse it, and cut it into thin half-rings. Rinse the parsley with cold water and dry it very well. Add the sliced onion and parsley as the next layer in the salad. Spread with a small amount of mayonnaise.
Step 7
Repeat all the layers once again. Spread the final layer with mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Step 8
Before serving, it is best to let this salad sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour so all the layers can soak through. When serving, decorate the salad with olive halves. You can skip this step, so olives are added only if desired.
