Preparation
Step 1
How do you make salad with processed cheese and chicken? Prepare the ingredients. Cook the chicken fillet, eggs, and potatoes in their skins in advance, then cool them. Place the processed cheese, 1 package, in the freezer, as this will make it easier to grate. Use processed cheese without milk fat substitutes, as it is higher quality and tastes better.
Step 2
How do you boil potatoes in their skins? Wash the potatoes thoroughly, place them in a pot, and cover with cold water. Set over high heat. Once the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat. Cook the potatoes for about 25 minutes. Check doneness with a sharp knife - it should pierce the potato easily. When the potatoes are ready, drain the water and let them cool. Then peel them. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater and place them as the first layer on a plate or at the bottom of a salad bowl.
Step 3
I assemble the salad using a serving ring, pressing down each layer with a press. Spread a small amount of mayonnaise over the potato layer or make a mayonnaise lattice. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream. For a lattice, it is convenient to make a small hole in the mayonnaise package lid or place the mayonnaise in a bag and cut a tiny opening.
Step 4
How do you cook chicken breast? Bring water to a boil in a pot and lower the meat into it. Add salt. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at a gentle simmer over low heat. Then remove the meat and let it cool. Use the broth for other dishes. Pull the cooled chicken fillet into fibers and place it as the second layer in the salad. Using a press or a spoon, lightly press the fillet onto the previous layer. Make a mayonnaise lattice.
Step 5
Grate the cooked and cooled eggs on a coarse grater and place them as the next layer in the salad. Spread mayonnaise over the layer or make a mayonnaise lattice.
Step 6
Take the chilled processed cheese out of the package and grate it on a coarse grater. Place the grated cheese as the final layer in the salad. Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour so the layers can absorb the flavors well.
Step 7
Serve the salad chilled, decorating it however you like. Enjoy your meal!
