Table
Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 240°C / 220°C Fan / Gas 9. Make sure the broccoli is completely dry before you begin, as this helps it roast properly.
Step 2
Trim the base of the broccoli and peel away the tough outer layer from the lower part of the stalk. Cut the stalk into long spears or bite-sized pieces, and separate the florets if necessary.
Step 3
Place the broccoli florets and stalk pieces onto a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper, then toss everything together so the broccoli is evenly coated.
Step 4
Transfer the tray to the top shelf of the oven and roast for 15 minutes, until the broccoli is tender with lightly crisped edges.
Step 5
While the broccoli roasts, mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
Step 6
Once the broccoli is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the sauce over the top. Finish by sprinkling with seeds and serve immediately.
