Preparation
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. For the topping, use any sausage or cured meat you like, such as ham or salami. Tomato sauce can be replaced with fresh tomatoes blended until smooth. Choose any cheese that melts well.
Step 2
Begin with the dough. Combine the butter, cottage cheese, egg, sour cream, sugar and salt in a bowl.
Step 3
Mix until evenly combined, then sift in the flour and baking soda.
Step 4
Knead into a soft dough and leave it to rest for 20 minutes while you prepare the pizza toppings.
Step 5
Rinse and prepare the onion and bell pepper, then cut them into rings or half-rings.
Step 6
Cut the sausage into rounds or medium-sized pieces, depending on your preference.
Step 7
Slice the olives into rings and coarsely grate the cheese.
Step 8
Roll the rested dough into a circle and transfer it to a suitable baking pan or baking sheet greased with oil or lined with parchment paper.
Step 9
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
Step 10
Arrange the prepared toppings over the crust in any order, adding the cheese last. This amount of ingredients makes approximately 2 medium pizzas.
Step 11
Bake the yeast-free cottage cheese pizza in an oven preheated to 350°F for 15–20 minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs if desired, cut into portions and serve hot.
