Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. You can use any pasta, either large or small. Elbow macaroni works particularly well. For seasoning, use ground black pepper, paprika and a little dried basil or other herbs. Choose any cheese you like.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the chicken and cook for 2–3 minutes, until it changes color and begins to brown.
Step 3
While the chicken is cooking, peel and finely chop the onion. Cut the bell pepper into small strips.
Step 4
Add the onion and bell pepper to the chicken. Cook everything together over low heat for another 3–5 minutes. Season with salt and spices. The vegetables should soften slightly.
Step 5
Pour the milk into the pan and bring it to a boil.
Step 6
Add the pasta and stir. Cover the pan and cook for 10–15 minutes, depending on the type of pasta, until tender. Stir occasionally so the pasta does not stick.
Step 7
As the pasta cooks, it will soften, increase in size and absorb the milk. If there is not enough liquid, add a little hot water.
Step 8
Sprinkle the hot pasta with grated cheese and mix well. The cheese will begin to melt immediately.
Step 9
Divide the chicken and cheese pasta among plates and serve hot.
