Oven-Grilled Herby and Spicy Chicken Drumsticks
Oven-grilled chicken drumsticks marinated in a blended spice mixture, cooked until juicy and tender with a lightly charred finish.

- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all the marinade ingredients in a food blender and process until smooth. Taste the marinade and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
Step 2
Pour the marinade over the chicken drumsticks, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
Step 3
Arrange the marinated drumsticks on an oiled grill rack set over an oven tray. Cover the drumsticks loosely with aluminium foil.
Step 4
Grill the chicken at 180–200°C for about 20 minutes while covered. Remove the foil, then continue grilling for a further 25-40 minutes, or until the drumsticks are fully cooked and nicely coloured.
