How do you make breaded pork schnitzel in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Use boneless pork. Pork loin works best because it is very convenient to cut into individual portions. The eggs can be any size.

Cut the pork across the grain into portion-sized pieces, about 1.5-2 cm thick, about 5/8-3/4 inch. All the pieces should be about the same size. This is necessary so the meat cooks evenly at the same time.

Each piece of meat needs to be pounded. To do this, place the meat on a board, cover it with plastic wrap, and pound it with a meat mallet. Why cover the meat with plastic wrap? This prevents splashes from flying around and keeps the edges of the meat from tearing.

Brush each pounded piece of meat on both sides with a small amount of mayonnaise and let it rest for about 30 minutes so the meat marinates slightly. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use mustard or soy sauce.

Prepare 3 bowls for breading. Put flour in 1 bowl, breadcrumbs in another, and crack the eggs into the third. Add a little salt and spices to the eggs and lightly whisk them. There is no need to beat them, just mix everything together.

Coat each piece of meat in flour, then dip it in the egg, and coat it in breadcrumbs.

Prepare a baking tray. Line it with parchment paper and arrange the pieces of meat over the surface. Put the tray into an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven.
