Oven-Baked Garlic Potatoes

Preparation
Step 1
How to bake garlic potatoes in the oven? Prepare the ingredients. Choose smooth, undamaged potatoes so the wedges turn out even. Peel the potatoes and rinse off any dirt. If you’re using new potatoes, you can simply scrub them with a brush - the thin skin comes off easily.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon. In a deep bowl, combine vegetable oil, lemon juice, and mustard.
Step 3
Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Add the garlic, paprika, curry, ground pepper, and dried herbs to the bowl. Salt lightly. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Cut the peeled potatoes lengthwise into 4-6 pieces to make wedges. Pat all wedges very dry - this helps the marinade coat them well.
Step 5
Add all the potatoes to the bowl and mix so the marinade evenly coats the wedges on all sides.
Step 6
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the potatoes in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C / 356°F for 40-50 minutes. After 20 minutes of baking, stir/turn the wedges so they brown evenly.
Step 7
Adjust the baking time to your oven. The potatoes should be soft and lightly browned. Remove the tray from the oven, transfer the potatoes to a serving dish, and serve.
Step 8
These potatoes are delicious on their own, and they also make a great side dish for meat or fish. Enjoy!
