Easy
About 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
How do you make chicken in beer in the oven? Prepare the ingredients. You can use a whole chicken or any chicken parts. In this recipe, I use chicken drumsticks. Rinse the chicken under running water and dry it well with a paper towel so no excess moisture remains. Place all the pieces in a large bowl.
Step 2
Sprinkle the chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Mix well, rubbing the spices into the chicken. Try to make sure the spices are evenly distributed over all the pieces. Leave the chicken to stand for 1 hour.
Step 4
Prepare a baking dish. Place the chicken drumsticks in it.
Step 5
Pour the beer over everything so the chicken is halfway submerged. Place the baking dish with the chicken in an oven preheated to 180°C / 356°F for 1 hour. Open the oven from time to time and baste the chicken with the sauce that forms, or simply turn all the pieces over. To check whether the chicken is done, pierce it with a knife. If clear juices run out, the chicken is ready.
Step 6
The finished chicken turns out golden and very appetizing. It can be served as a dish on its own or with any side, such as potatoes or rice. Serve the chicken hot. Enjoy!
