Easy
About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Grate the processed cheese on a medium grater. It’s easier to do if you first place it in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Also grate the hard cheese.
Step 3
Rinse the dill well, dry it and chop finely. Put the grated processed cheese into a bowl, add the chopped dill and mayonnaise. Mix everything together.
Step 4
Slice the tomatoes into rounds. My tomatoes are large, so I cut them into half-moons.
Step 5
Slice the baguettes or rolls lengthwise into 2 halves.
Step 6
Spread each half with the cheese–mayonnaise mixture.
Step 7
Arrange the tomato slices (or half-slices) on top.
Step 8
Sprinkle everything with the grated hard cheese. Bake the sandwiches in the oven at 200-210°C (about 392-410°F) for roughly 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve them hot. Enjoy your meal!
