Table
Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C and place two baking trays inside to heat up.
Step 2
To make the sauce, add the tomatoes, herbs, and sugar to a saucepan. Peel and finely grate the garlic, then stir it into the pan. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from the heat, season with salt and pepper, and set aside to cool.
Step 3
To make the dough, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center and pour in the yoghurt. Stir with a fork until the mixture starts to come together into a rough dough.
Step 4
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. (It will be soft and sticky at first, but keep kneading and it will form a smooth ball.)
Step 5
Divide the dough into four equal pieces and roll each into a thin circle.
Step 6
Carefully remove the hot baking trays from the oven and place the pizza bases on top. Bake for 3-4 minutes, until they begin to puff up and rise slightly, then remove from the oven.
Step 7
Flip each base over and spread with the tomato sauce. Scatter mozzarella evenly over the top, season with black pepper, and sprinkle with a pinch of herbs. Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 5 minutes, until the bases are crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
Step 8
Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
