How do you make Mystery Salad for Guests with Egg Crepes? Prepare the ingredients. You will need cooked chicken breast. Use fresh cucumbers - two short ones or one long one. I use potato starch, but you can replace it with cornstarch, using twice as much. The salad is dressed with mayonnaise, though you can replace it with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream.
Step 2
The onion in this salad is not used raw, but fried. How do you fry the onion? Peel it, then cut it into half-rings. Heat a skillet over high heat, pour in the oil, and add the onion. Fry it until lightly golden. There is no need to cook it until completely soft; it should remain slightly crisp.
Step 3
Prepare the egg crepes. How do you make them? Crack the eggs into a deep bowl. Add the flour, starch, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture until smooth.
Step 4
Heat a skillet over high heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil, if needed. For a nonstick skillet, this is not necessary. Pour the batter onto the skillet in portions, about one ladle at a time. Fry each crepe on both sides until golden. When a crepe is ready, remove it from the skillet onto a plate and let it cool. Fry the remaining crepes from all the batter in the same way. I got four thin crepes.

Cook the chicken fillet. How do you cook chicken breast? Bring water to a boil in a pot and lower the meat into it. Add salt. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at a gentle simmer over low heat. Let the cooked chicken fillet cool, then pull it apart into fibers. Put the meat into the bowl or salad bowl you have chosen. For the salad to look more attractive, it is better to cut and add the ingredients in similar shapes.

Add the cooled fried onion to the salad bowl with the chicken meat.

Wash the cucumbers and dry them with a towel. Cut the cucumbers into thin strips and add them to the salad bowl. I first sliced the cucumber into ribbons with a vegetable slicer, and then cut those ribbons into thin strips. If you like, leave a few strips aside to decorate the salad.
Step 8
Roll up the cooled egg crepes and cut them into thin strips. Gently separate them. Add the sliced crepes to the salad. If you wish, leave a few strips rolled up and save them for decorating the salad.
Step 9
Add the mayonnaise, salt to taste, and, if desired, ground black pepper. Gently mix the salad. It is best to use salad servers or two forks so that it stays light and fluffy.

The finished salad can be served immediately. For a more striking presentation, decorate it with cucumber rolls and rolled crepe strips. Enjoy your meal!
