Multicooker Sausage and Pickle Soup
A flavorful, aromatic soup requiring very little effort! This simple sausage and pickle soup is prepared without meat broth. Slow cooking in a multicooker gives it a rich, savory and pleasantly tangy flavor.

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. The finished amount will be approximately 3 quarts. You can use any sausage or smoked meat products you prefer, such as smoked sausage, ham or smoked pork loin.
Step 2
Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.
Step 3
Rinse and peel the carrot, then coarsely grate it.
Step 4
Coarsely grate the pickles. If their skin is particularly tough, peel them first.
Step 5
Cut the sausage and smoked meat into thin strips.
Step 6
Rinse and peel the potatoes, then cut them into small cubes.
Step 7
Select a program suitable for sautéing. Add the oil and let it heat briefly. Add the onion and carrot, cover and cook for 5–7 minutes.
Step 8
Add the grated pickles, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 9
Add the tomato paste and mix well. Continue cooking with the lid closed until the sautéing program finishes.
Step 10
Add the sliced sausage, smoked meat and potatoes. Boil water in a kettle and pour it into the multicooker up to the maximum fill line. Season with salt and ground black pepper, then stir.
Step 11
Select the stew setting and cook the soup for 2 hours.
