Meat with Bell Peppers
If you’re not serving this dish with a side, I recommend pairing it with a fresh vegetable salad or a simple veggie platter. Pork is quite filling on its own, while fresh vegetables add a touch of lightness and freshness. They go perfectly together.

Preparation
Step 1
Choose tender meat - pork tenderloin or neck works best, as it will melt in your mouth. You can use fresh or frozen vegetables. You may also add carrots, zucchini, or mushrooms for more flavor. A bit of garlic will enhance the aroma. Rinse the pork, pat it dry, and cut into small even pieces.
Step 2
Heat a little vegetable oil in a skillet and add the pork pieces. Fry over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, stirring, until golden brown.
Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse it in cold water, and chop it. You don’t need to cut it too finely - it will become soft and almost invisible when stewed.
Step 4
Add the chopped onion to the meat and cook together for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet. You can peel them beforehand: score the tops with a cross, place in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, cool slightly, and peel off the skin.
Step 6
Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds, and slice them into thin strips.
Step 7
Add the peppers to the skillet after the tomatoes. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Step 8
Pour in a little hot water, season with salt and your favorite spices, stir, and cover with a lid. Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes until the meat is tender and the peppers are soft. Serve as a main dish or with your favorite side. Enjoy your meal!
