Prepare all the ingredients. You can use milk of any fat content for the porridge. The porridge turns out fairly thick. If you like a thinner porridge, use more milk.

Pour the required amount of milk into the saucepan. Add sugar and salt to the milk to taste. The added salt both balances the flavor of the sugar and at the same time emphasizes the sweetness of the porridge. Then add the semolina to the cold milk. Stir and place the saucepan over the heat. If you like a thinner porridge, reduce the amount of semolina by one third.

Bring everything to a boil, stirring constantly. As it comes to a boil, the porridge will gradually thicken. Cook it for about 20-30 seconds and remove it from the heat. Just do not stop stirring, otherwise you will end up with one big lump.
