Preparation
Step 1
How do you make lazy cabbage rolls in a multicooker with cabbage, rice and ground meat? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use ground meat from any type of meat. I will cook with ground pork.
Step 2
First you need to cook the rice. Rinse the rice several times in cold water, put it into boiling water and cook for 20-25 minutes, until soft. Drain the cooked rice in a colander and rinse with cold water.
Step 3
Finely shred the cabbage and pour hot water over it. Leave it to stand for about 10 minutes. This is needed so that the cabbage softens. Then drain the cabbage in a colander and let all the water drain off.
Step 4
For mixing the ground meat take a comfortable, roomy bowl. Combine the prepared ground meat, the cooked rice and the softened cabbage.
Step 5
Then add the egg and a spoon of sour cream. Add a little salt and spices to taste.
Step 6
Mix all the ingredients very well until you get a uniform mixture.
Step 7
Peel the onion and carrot and rinse from any dirt. Turn the multicooker to the “Fry” mode, pour in a little vegetable oil. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot. Put the chopped vegetables into the hot bowl of the multicooker and fry them for 2-3 minutes.
Step 8
Meanwhile, separately heat a frying pan and pour in some vegetable oil. Shape balls out of the meat mixture and fry them over high heat so the meat “seals” and browns on all sides.
Step 9
Put the fried meat balls into the multicooker on top of the vegetables.
Step 10
In a separate glass, mix water, sour cream and tomato paste. Add a little salt.
Step 11
Pour the meat balls with the resulting sauce and set the multicooker to the “Stew” mode for 60 minutes. Adjust according to your multicooker.
Step 12
After the set time the multicooker will give a sound signal indicating that the dish is ready. Carefully open the lid, arrange the lazy cabbage rolls on plates and serve. Enjoy your meal!
