Preparation
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. The mayonnaise can be either store-bought or homemade.
Step 2
Wash the beef and pat it dry. Place the meat on a piece of foil. Brush it with vegetable oil, season with salt and pepper. Wrap the meat tightly in the foil. Place it on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven. Cool the cooked beef and cut it into small strips.
Step 3
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into thin strips. Choose juicy but firm tomatoes. Soft ones will not hold their shape well and may turn into a shapeless mass during cutting and mixing, spoiling the appearance of the dish.
Step 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Choose any cheese you like, the main thing is that it should be good quality and free from milk fat substitutes.
Step 5
Wash the herbs, pat them dry, and chop them finely. I used parsley, but you can choose any herbs to your taste.
Step 6
In a salad bowl, combine the baked beef, tomatoes, cheese, herbs, and garlic pressed through a garlic press. Dress the salad with mayonnaise and toss. Enjoy your meal!
