Preparation
Step 1
How do you make garlic butter? To make garlic butter, prepare softened butter, parsley, salt, and garlic. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance, about 20-30 minutes before you start making the recipe. To speed up the softening process, you can cut the butter into small pieces.
Step 2
Transfer the softened butter to a deep bowl and mash it with a fork. A bowl with a relatively flat bottom works best.
Step 3
Rinse the parsley under running water and shake off the excess moisture. Finely chop the herbs. You can replace the parsley with dill or cilantro. To make the butter spread more delicate, it is best to remove the tough stems from the herbs.
Step 4
Peel the garlic, grate it on a fine grater, or pass it through a garlic press. This helps it release its aroma and flavor into the butter more fully.
Step 5
Salt the butter to taste. By the way, this is not absolutely necessary. Butter is already slightly salty on its own, so it may turn out that there is already enough salt for your taste. I added a little salt to mine. Then mix all the ingredients together. The garlic butter with herbs is ready!
