Green beans with garlic
A bright and vibrant green bean side dish quickly sautéed with garlic, lemon, and parsley. Fresh, zesty, and full of flavour - perfect alongside meats, fish, or vegetarian mains.

Preparation
Step 1
Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the green beans, ½ teaspoon salt, and 50ml/2fl oz water. Cook, stirring often, for about 3 minutes, until the water has evaporated.
Step 2
Add the olive oil and continue cooking for 2½ minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
Step 3
Turn off the heat and squeeze the lemon juice over the beans. Stir through the parsley, then transfer to a serving bowl.
Step 4
Serve warm.
