French-Style Cinnabon Rolls with Yeast and Milk
A wonderful alternative to bread! Cook and surprise your loved ones! Today I wanted to bake rolls to go with soup - yes, rolls instead of bread. They turned out fantastic, which is so pleasing. And as a nice bonus, I got praise from my husband and children for being inventive. We’re talking about Cinnabon-style rolls with fresh herbs.

Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
To make the dough: Pour the warm milk into a bowl, add the sugar and yeast. Stir and leave until a foamy cap forms. After 15-20 minutes, take the activated sponge, sift flour into it, pour in the vegetable oil, add salt, and knead the dough. It should turn out soft, tender, and elastic. Leave it in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
Step 2
The filling will be a pesto sauce: blend the herbs together with the garlic, then add olive oil and salt. Mix well. That’s it, the pesto is ready!
Step 3
Start shaping the rolls: roll out the dough into a sheet, spread it with the pesto sauce, and roll it up into a log.
Step 4
Arrange the Cinnabon rolls on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
Step 5
Bake at 200 °C (about 392 °F) for roughly 30 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick. The baking time may be shorter; it depends on your oven.
Step 6
Let the rolls cool slightly and enjoy!
