Preparation
Step 1
How do you make flourless pizza? Boil the chicken breast in salted water ahead of time until fully cooked. Cut it into small pieces. Instead of chicken, you can also use turkey fillet, it will be no less tasty and wholesome.
Step 2
For the base, blend the cauliflower in a blender or food processor until it reaches a mushy consistency. I boiled it beforehand in salted water for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Mix the cauliflower with hard cheese grated on a fine grater and the egg. Add salt to taste. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper, mine is 21 cm, about 8 inches, in diameter. To make sure the pizza comes out easily and does not stick, lightly grease the parchment and the sides of the pan with vegetable oil. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes, until the mixture sets. It may take a little more or a little less time. Use your oven as the guide.
Step 5
While the base is baking, prepare the topping. For the topping I used boiled chicken breast, boiled button mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. You can also use sweet pepper, canned corn, and other vegetables. To keep the pizza truly wholesome, try not to use less healthy products such as mayonnaise, sausage, bacon, and so on. Spread the base with tomato sauce. Arrange the topping over it, sprinkle with grated hard cheese, and return it to the oven for 20 minutes.
Step 6
There is a common belief that balanced eating is boring and tasteless. This pizza recipe is a clear refutation of that. The tender base with a pronounced cheese flavor and the delicious topping, I think, will leave no one indifferent. Both I and my family liked the pizza, even though my husband is not at all a fan of balanced eating. And now I know how to feed my loved ones wholesome cauliflower, which they normally cannot stand, by hiding it in the pizza base. So I will definitely keep this recipe in mind.
