Preparation
Step 1
How do you make dough for potato-filled flatbreads? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Use all-purpose flour and milk of any fat content, according to your taste. I recommend using good-quality, fragrant butter, because its flavor is very noticeable in the baked dough. Dry the egg with a paper towel.
Step 2
Sift the wheat flour through a fine sieve to enrich it with oxygen. This will make the baked flatbreads lighter.
Step 3
Melt the butter in any convenient way. Let it cool slightly.
Step 4
Beat the egg with the salt until smooth.
Step 5
Warm the milk slightly. Pour the lukewarm milk into the egg mixture and stir.
Step 6
Add the melted butter to the milk and egg mixture and stir.
Step 7
Add about 3/4 of the total amount of flour to the egg and milk mixture.
Step 8
Mix the dough first with a spoon, then begin kneading it by hand. Add the remaining flour gradually, a little at a time, mixing the dough and watching its consistency. Keep in mind that you may need a little more or a little less flour.
Step 9
The dough should be soft and elastic, and absolutely not stiff. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and leave it on the table for 30 minutes.
Step 10
After that, you can start making the flatbreads. They are especially tasty with a potato filling. Happy baking!
