- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
How do you make Crêpes Suzette? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash the oranges well under running water using a fruit wash.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, combine the eggs and sugar. Lightly whisk them together.
Step 3
Then add a pinch of salt and the melted butter to the bowl. Pour in the milk and gradually add the sifted flour. Mix into a smooth, thin crepe batter without lumps. Keep in mind that you may need a little less or a little more flour, so judge by the consistency of the batter.
Step 4
Before cooking the first crepe, lightly grease the pan with vegetable oil and heat it well. Pour a little batter into the hot pan and spread it evenly over the surface in a thin layer. Cook the crepes on both sides over medium heat until golden.
Step 5
Cook all the crepes this way. Stack them one on top of another on a separate plate.
Step 6
To make the sauce, cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice.
Step 7
Put the butter and sugar into a hot skillet. Wait about a minute until everything dissolves.
Step 8
Mix the orange juice with the starch so there are no lumps.
Step 9
Pour everything into the skillet, stir, and bring to a boil. If the sauce turns out too thick, add a little water.
Step 10
Fold the crepes into triangles and place them in the hot syrup. Leave them for a couple of minutes so they absorb the sauce. You can turn them over so they are fully coated. Arrange the finished Crêpes Suzette with orange sauce on plates and serve. Enjoy your meal!
