Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring, until softened.
Step 2
Add the frozen peas and stock, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the cream.
Step 3
Blend the soup until smooth using a stick blender, food processor or standard blender.
Step 4
Season to taste and serve in warmed bowls.
