Cottage Cheese Pancakes in a Multicooker
Familiar, tasty, classic - but made in an unusual way! A multicooker is a great helper for many dishes. You can even make cottage cheese pancakes in it. This option is perfect when there’s no stove nearby - for example, at a summer house.

Preparation
Step 1
How do you make cottage cheese pancakes in a multicooker? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use soft curd, but not watery - excess moisture will negatively affect baking. For more tender pancakes, you can press the curd through a sieve.
Step 2
For the curd batter, combine the soft curd with sugar and an egg. Mix all ingredients well.
Step 3
Add the sifted flour and a pinch of vanillin. Work all the flour into the curd batter. I use a regular fork for this. If you want a smoother texture, you can briefly blend the mixture with an immersion blender - but then you may need a bit more flour. I prefer some curd bits to remain, so I don’t blend it. The finished batter should be thick, but not overly stiff.
Step 4
Put a little flour into a separate bowl. Spoon a little batter, roll it in flour, and shape small pancakes with your hands. Make them round or oval - whatever shape you like.
Step 5
Set the multicooker to the “Bake” mode for 30 minutes and let it preheat. Then pour in a little vegetable oil and place the pancakes inside. Close the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Step 6
Open the multicooker and flip the pancakes. Cook the other side for 8-10 minutes as well. Adjust to your multicooker’s power. Of course, they take longer in a multicooker than in a skillet, but they turn out more tender and soft.
Step 7
The finished pancakes are delicious both hot and cold. Serve with sour cream, jam, or sweetened condensed milk. You can also simply dust them with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
