Preparation
Step 1
Open the can of canned corn and drain the liquid. Rinse the fresh cucumber to remove any dirt. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Then pour off the hot water and cool the eggs in cold water.
Step 2
Rinse the rice for the salad several times in cold water, then drain all the water. Put the rinsed rice into boiling water and cook until done, following the instructions on the package. The cooked rice should be soft. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes. Drain the finished rice in a colander, rinse with cold water and leave until the excess water drains off. Cooled rice can then be used for the salad.
Step 3
Put the boiled rice into the bowl in which you will prepare the salad. Add the canned corn to the rice.
Step 4
Remove the crab sticks from their packaging. Cut the crab sticks and the fresh cucumber into small cubes and add them to the salad bowl.
Step 5
Peel the cooled eggs, chop them and add to the salad. Dress the ingredients with mayonnaise and mix. You don’t need to add too much mayonnaise.
Step 6
The classic crab stick salad with cucumber is ready! Chill it a little before serving. You can transfer the finished salad to a large salad bowl or portion it using a serving ring. Enjoy your meal!
