Step 1
How do you bake cinnamon buns from puff pastry? Prepare the ingredients. It is best to use puff pastry in sheets, as it is easier to roll out that way. Take the pastry out of the freezer about 1 hour in advance. It is important that the sheets do not stick together. Open the package, separate the sheets with parchment paper, put them back into the package, and close it tightly so the pastry does not dry out.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave. Cool the melted butter to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon and mix.
Step 4
Dust the table lightly with flour so the pastry does not stick while rolling. It is also better to dust the pastry itself lightly with flour so the rolling pin does not stick. Roll each sheet into a rectangle and cut it into squares about 20 x 20 cm, about 8 x 8 inches.

Brush each pastry square with melted butter using a pastry brush.

Sprinkle the entire surface evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Roll each square of pastry into a long log. If needed, you can gently stretch the log with your hands to make it a little longer.

Cut each log lengthwise with a sharp knife, leaving 1.5-2 cm, about 5/8-3/4 inch, uncut at one end.

Twist the two strips of dough together and shape them into a round wreath. Tuck the ends of the dough into the loop where you started twisting the wreath.

Place the prepared buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with the remaining melted butter.
Step 11
Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. The tops of the buns should brown nicely. Remove the finished cinnamon sugar puff pastry buns from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
