Chopped Pork Patties
Juicy, appetizing, aromatic, and perfect for everyday meals! Chopped Pork Patties are a recipe that will help when you do not have a meat grinder. The meat for the patties is cut into small pieces with a knife, which makes them denser, but also more aromatic than regular patties. Other types of meat can be cooked this way too.

Preparation
Step 1
How do you make chopped pork patties? Prepare the ingredients. Choose meat with layers of fat so the patties turn out juicier. To make the meat easier to cut, slightly freeze it in the freezer if it is fresh, or do not thaw it completely if it is frozen. Cut the meat into very small pieces.
Step 2
Place the finely chopped meat in a bowl. Add the egg. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Better yet, grate it; this will make the patties even juicier. You can also add grated garlic.
Step 3
Then add a little mayonnaise. Thanks to the mayonnaise, the patties will be juicier and more tender. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use kefir or sour cream. To bind the patty mixture, add starch. If you do not have starch, use flour. Add a little chopped fresh herbs to taste. You can use green onions as the herbs. Wash and dry the herbs beforehand.
Step 4
Lightly salt the meat mixture, keeping in mind that the mayonnaise already contains salt, and add spices to taste. Mix everything well until smooth.
Step 5
Heat a pan over high heat and pour in a little vegetable oil. The patty mixture will be very soft and juicy, so it will not be possible to shape it by hand. Spoon it into the pan, forming small patties that are not too thick, so they have time to cook through. Fry them on both sides over low heat until golden brown.
Step 6
The patties should be cooked through well, so turn them several times. At the very end, it is best to cover the pan with a lid and keep the patties over the lowest heat for 5 minutes.
Step 7
The finished patties can be served with any side dish or vegetable salad. Enjoy!
