Chocolate Pudding
A rich and creamy homemade chocolate pudding made with cocoa, chocolate and milk, gently simmered until thick and chilled until perfectly set.

Preparation
Step 1
Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the sugar, salt, vanilla powder and cocoa powder. Stir well until everything is fully combined.
Step 2
Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the mixture into a small bowl and mix it with the cornstarch until completely smooth and dissolved. Pour this slurry back into the saucepan.
Step 3
Add the chocolate to the pan and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to the boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, or until thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Stir in the butter, then turn off the heat.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into glass jars and leave to chill until fully set. Put a cling film directly on the pudding if you don't want a skin to form on the top.
