Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. You can use any chicken pieces, but boneless chicken fillet is especially convenient. Adjust the ingredient proportions slightly according to your taste.
Step 2
Pat the chicken fillet dry and cut it into large pieces. Set the multicooker to the Sauté or Fry setting and heat the bowl. Add a little vegetable oil, then add the chicken and cook for 7–8 minutes, until lightly golden.
Step 3
Clean the champignons and cut them into pieces. Quarter large mushrooms and halve smaller ones.
Step 4
Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into half-rings or smaller pieces and roughly chop the garlic.
Step 5
Cut the bell pepper and tomatoes into pieces.
Step 6
Once the chicken is browned, transfer it to a plate. Add the champignons to the multicooker bowl and cook for 5–7 minutes. Add the onion and continue cooking for another 3–4 minutes.
Step 7
Return the chicken to the multicooker. Add the bell pepper, tomatoes and garlic and cook everything together for another 2–3 minutes. Pour in the hot water, add the curry seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste. Switch to the Stew setting and cook for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked. Adjust the time if needed for your multicooker.
Step 8
Serve the chicken with mushrooms hot on its own or with your favorite side dish.
