Easy
About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Defrost the chicken liver. Remove it from the freezer in advance and let it thaw at room temperature.
Step 2
Cut the chicken liver into pieces - not too small. Preheat a frying pan until hot, add a bit of vegetable oil, and place the chopped liver in. Fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse it, and slice it into half rings. Add the onion to the pan with the liver. Fry the liver and onion together for about 5 more minutes until the onion becomes soft.
Step 4
Then add mayonnaise to the pan. Sprinkle in a little salt and your favorite spices. Keep in mind that mayonnaise already contains salt. Stir the liver with the mayonnaise, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
The mayonnaise and onion will make the liver juicy and form a bit of gravy. If you prefer more sauce, add a little water.
Step 6
The chicken liver stewed with mayonnaise is ready! It goes perfectly with boiled rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy your meal!
