Preparation
Step 1
How to make chicken hearts and gizzards stewed in a multicooker? Prepare the ingredients. Rinse the chicken gizzards and hearts thoroughly; trim off membranes and excess fat.
Step 2
Cut them into several pieces so they turn out juicier and more tender. Rinse again under running water. Drain in a colander and let all the liquid drip off completely.
Step 3
Peel the onion and dice it. If you like, you can also add carrot to the vegetable sauté for a slightly sweet note in offal dishes.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Select the “Fry” program for 12 minutes. When the oil is hot, add the onion. Fry, stirring constantly with a wooden or silicone spatula, with the lid open for about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Then add the prepared hearts and gizzards to the onion. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste; add other seasoning if you like.
Step 6
Stir and continue frying the offal with the onion in the multicooker with the lid open for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 7
Add sour cream (if it’s thick and high-fat, add a little water) or pour in cream. Stir. Switch to the “Stew” program for 30 minutes. Close the lid - now you can do other things or prepare a side dish. Grains, pasta, or mashed potatoes are great here.
Step 8
After the beep, let the dish rest under the closed lid for a few minutes, then serve. Enjoy!
