Chicken Cutlets with Potatoes
Tender, fragrant, and juicy - a dish the whole family will appreciate! Chicken cutlets with potatoes make a complete lunch or dinner. They’re very easy to prepare and always turn out delicious. Serve them with vegetables or any sauce you like.

Preparation
Step 1
You can use store-bought ground chicken, but I made mine from scratch.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken fillet under running water, pat it dry, and cut it into pieces. Pass it through a meat grinder with a coarse grate into a large bowl. Peel the onion and garlic and grind them through the same grinder. Adjust the amount of garlic to taste.
Step 3
Wash the potatoes with a brush, peel them, and grate 2-3 potatoes on a fine grater. Alternatively, you can grind them in a meat grinder, blender, or food processor.
Step 4
Add the grated potatoes to the bowl with the ground chicken.
Step 5
Crack an egg into the mixture. Be sure to wash the egg beforehand with soap and water.
Step 6
Add cumin, coriander, nutmeg, mixed pepper, and salt. You can adjust the spices as you prefer.
Step 7
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is uniform. Beat the mixture well by hand to remove excess air - this will make the texture firmer.
Step 8
Take a portion of the mixture and place a small piece of frozen butter inside.
Step 9
Shape it into a cutlet of your preferred size.
Step 10
Roll the formed cutlets in breadcrumbs, give them shape, and place them on a cutting board. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
Step 11
Heat oil in a skillet, place the cutlets in, and fry on one side for 4-5 minutes over medium heat until golden.
Step 12
Flip the cutlets, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat, and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes, until done.
Step 13
Serve the chicken and potato cutlets with your favorite side dish, garnished with herbs and seasonal vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
