- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients for the dough. Use all-purpose flour. Any vegetable oil will work, but extra-virgin olive oil is best. Before buying the yeast, read the instructions. We need yeast that is dissolved in liquid.
Step 2
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water, 37-40°C (98-104°F), and leave it in a warm place for 15 minutes to activate. A foamy cap should form on the surface. This means the yeast is active and you can continue making the dough. If this does not happen, use different yeast, because the dough will not work with this one.
Step 3
Add the egg, vegetable oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir well. Add most of the sifted flour and knead a soft, smooth dough, adding the remaining flour if needed. Be prepared that you may need a little more or a little less flour than stated in the recipe. Focus not on the exact amount of flour, but on the right dough consistency.
Step 4
Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and leave it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Step 5
For the topping, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Peel the onion and cut it into half-rings. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 6
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the mushrooms until golden brown. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate. Set aside a few mushroom slices for decoration. Add the chicken and onion to the pan and fry, stirring, until lightly browned. At the end, season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Pour in the cream and stir the sauce until smooth. At the end, add the garlic passed through a press and the spices. Simmer the sauce, stirring, until it thickens. Turn the oven on to 200°C (390°F).
Step 8
Punch down the dough and spread it in a pizza pan. Form the edges. Spread the sauce over the dough. Distribute the topping over it and sprinkle with grated cheese. Arrange the reserved mushrooms on top.
Step 9
Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 200°C (390°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes, or a little longer, until done. The time and temperature are approximate, so take into account the specifics of your oven.
Step 10
Serve the pizza hot, cut into portions. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme. A fresh vegetable salad with arugula and a drop of balsamic vinegar will be an ideal addition. You can also serve it with garlic sauce or sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
