Beef Soup with Dumplings and Vegetables

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients and spices to make a delicious meat soup with vegetables and dumplings.
Step 2
Crack and add 1 chicken egg into a bowl.
Step 3
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix.
Step 4
Add 200 g wheat flour in parts.
Step 5
Mix all ingredients with a whisk and knead the dough.
Step 6
Gather the dough into a ball and continue kneading by hand for about 7 minutes.

Place the firm dough into a bowl, cover it, and set aside.
Step 8
Put a pot on the stove and pour in 3 tablespoons vegetable oil; heat well over medium heat.

Add 700 g chopped beef on the bone and lightly sear it.
Step 10
Dice 1 large onion fairly finely.
Step 11
Add the chopped onion to the pot with the meat and mix well.
Step 12
Slice 1 large carrot into thin rings using a crinkle cutter (or a regular knife).

Add the sliced carrot to the pot.

Stir everything in the pot well.

Pour 2 liters of water into the pot with the meat and vegetables. Cover, bring to a boil, then simmer for 35 minutes.

Put the dough onto a surface lightly dusted with flour and roll it out into a flat sheet about 3 mm thick.

Cut the sheet into two equal parts.

Spread the sheets with softened butter.

Sprinkle a little dried herbs over the sheets and carefully roll them up into tight logs.

Seal the edges of the rolls well.

Slice the rolls into pieces about 1 cm thick.

Chop 4 peeled potatoes into fairly large pieces.

Add the potatoes to the pot, cover, bring to a boil, then cook the potatoes for 15 minutes.

Slice 1 bell pepper into small half-rings.

Add the pepper to the pot together with the dumplings, then increase the heat and stir everything.

Add 2 tablespoons tomato paste to the pot.

Add salt to taste.

Add dried herbs and a bay leaf to taste.

Stir everything, cover, and simmer the soup for 3 more minutes.

Add a mixed pepper blend to taste, cover, and let the soup stand for a few minutes.
